The Central Park Brass is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the following grants:
a $7,500 grant from the New York Department of Cultural Affairs
a $12,000 grant from Chamber Music America
The New York Department of Cultural Affairs grant recognizes the contribution the Central Park Brass makes to the cultural life of New York City and helps underwrite concerts in Central Park. This grant is in addition to the $3,000 grant awarded for the 2007 season.
This second grant from the NYDCA represents continued support from a city agency and gives us the right to apply again next year.

This residency will feature Central Park Brass musicians performing in playroom workshops, bedside visits and foyer concerts.
